Fourteen-mile Malibu Creek is the principal watercourse of the Santa Monica Mountains that ends at Malibu Lagoon. Park features hiking, fishing, bird watching, mountain biking, rock climbing and horseback riding opportunities. The park was home to Chumash Native American’s for centuries and used for filming hits such as Planet of the Apes and M*A*S*H.

King Gillette Ranch is a 588-acre park with historic structures, a pond, and a mansion situated in the heart of the Malibu Creek Watershed. At the center of this expansive property is the Mansion, an historic Spanish Colonial Revival formal residence built for razor magnate King C. Gillette in 1928. The stunning mansion was designed by Wallace Neff, known as the Architect of California’s Golden Age. It offers hiking, views, and activities like strolling and picnicking.
